MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Wil jij complexe, maatwerk hijsoplossingen ontwerpen die wereldwijd worden ingezet? Als Mechanical Project Engineer bij Stinis ben je van begin tot eindverantwoordelijk voor je eigen technische projecten, waarbij je nauw samenwerkt met klanten, engineering en productie.
HET BEDRIJF
Stinis Holland B.V. ontwikkelt en produceert geavanceerde spreaders en andere hijs- en hefwerktuigen voor de overslag van onder andere zeecontainers. Stinis Holland B.V. is een 100% familiebedrijf waarvan de fundamenten zijn gevormd in 1830. Sinds 1967 ontwikkelt en produceert Stinis container spreaders en andere container handling equipment. De ‘ship-to-shore’ spreaders onderscheiden zich door kwaliteit, veiligheid, duurzaamheid en effectiviteit. Inmiddels werken in Krimpen aan de Lek (nabij Rotterdam) 120 mensen, met wie wij Europa, het Midden-Oosten en Noord- en Zuid-Amerika bedienen. Daarnaast beschikken we over een tweede productielocatie in Maleisië en een eigen verkoopkantoor in Singapore.
JOUW FUNCTIE
Al onze producten zijn maatwerk. Vanaf de eerste contacten met de klant is engineering betrokken bij de technische haalbaarheid en het opstellen van de specificaties. Zodra de order is bevestigd, verzorg jij het verdere ontwerp in nauwe samenwerking met de tekenaars en je collega‑engineers. Vervolgens gaat het ontwerp naar de werkvoorbereiding, die jouw project soepel door de productie leidt. Je blijft dus nauw betrokken bij het gehele proces, tot aan de levering bij de klant.
Als Mechanical Project Engineer ben jij van begin tot einde verantwoordelijk voor jouw project. Na het toetsen van de aanvraag aan de geldende normen en regelgeving ga je aan de slag met ontwerpactiviteiten, sterkteberekeningen (FEM) en risicoanalyses. Samen met de engineers zorg je voor de uitwerking van de werktekeningen en controleer je deze voor vrijgave aan de overige afdelingen.
JOUW PROFIEL
- Je hebt minimaal een afgeronde hbo‑opleiding Werktuigbouwkunde
- Je hebt bij voorkeur meerdere jaren werkervaring als project engineer
- Je beschikt over goede kennis van werktuigbouwkundige machinebouw en relevante normen en regelgeving
- Je beheerst 3D‑tekenpakketten zoals Inventor of vergelijkbaar
- Je vindt het leuk om sterkteberekeningen (FEM) uit te voeren
- Je bent communicatief vaardig, werkt graag in teamverband en deelt actief je kennis met collega‑engineers
- Je bent minimaal 32 uur per week beschikbaar

Je krijgt een functie met veel zelfstandigheid en technische uitdaging. Je komt te werken op een afdeling die bestaat uit project engineers, engineers en technisch schrijvers, met misschien wel het mooiste uitzicht van Krimpen aan de Lek. Aan de ene kant kijk je uit over de Lek, aan de andere kant over de productieruimte, waar je jouw eigen projecten gebouwd ziet worden en wereldwijd worden ingezet. Voordat je zelfstandig aan projecten werkt, word je meegenomen in een uitgebreid inwerktraject waarin je onze spreaders en werkwijze goed leert kennen.

YOUR ROLE
As a Commissioning & After Sales Engineer, your job roles will be as following:-
- Commissioning of projects assigned by superior.
- Provide support and assistance to pre-commissioning team with testing and trouble- shooting of new
- Make regular visit to customers to improve customer relationship and gather information targeting improvement to the product and spare parts process
- Regularly inform and update the organization about customer feedback, aiming for continuous improvement of the Stinis product and
- Provide technical support and recommend problem-solving solutions to customers to ensure they are satisfied with Stinis products and after-sales
- To provide aftersales, trouble-shooting and technical support to make sure customers are satisfied with the products and services of the organization.
- Prepare commissioning reports of site activities, observations, complaints, product defects, testing processes.
- Plan and coordinate commissioning schedule with end user and report to Head of commissioning and after sales.
- Undertake and execute all works in a safe manner by complying with relevant laws, regulations, procedures, protocols and codes of practice to safeguard for Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) of own self, other people and properties at workplace.
- Other ad-hoc tasks pertaining to commissioning and after sales duties as required by the superior.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have at least Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- You have a few years of work experience in port equipment servicing and maintenance.
- You have good problem solving skills in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic system.
- You are able to support the after sales service enquiries after the normal working hours.
- You are able travel to overseas frequently.
