OUR PASSION & DEDICATION

Arie Stinis founded the company in 1830 as a smithy, making horse shoes and skates for the community of Krimpen aan de Lek. Located close to the port of Rotterdam, Stinis became involved in the development, manufacture, certification and maintenance of chains, hooks and accessories. Today we design, manufacture not only chains and hooks but also service spreaders and custom lifting equipment for container handling.
We always listen carefully to our customers’ needs and operational challenges. As a result, we develop solutions that match real-world requirements. Furthermore, partnering with Stinis means becoming part of a long-term relationship built on trust, expertise and continuous support from a pioneer in spreader technology.
