Spring loaded

Our RC Autotwist spreaders are equipped with flippers for faster positioning on the container. The flippers are very thin which makes it easy to land the spreader in narrow spaces.

The spreader is standard equipped with 2 forklift pockets for easy transportation of the spreader around the terminal.

There is an operating rod mounted on the side of the spreaders to manually operate the pin drive mechanism.

Autowist and RC Autotwist spreaders are equipped with a landing pin on each of the 4 corners of the spreader. All 4 pins have to be individually raised to enable the twistlocks to lock/unlock.

Each spreader is equipped with 4 lifting lugs, making it easy to connect attachments to the spreader. This allows the spreader to lift unusual cargo that cannot be lifted with the twistlocks.

The twistlocks on the Remote Control Autotwist are hydraulically powered and controlled. A powerpack on the RC Autotwist builds up pressure for powerful locking and unlocking movement of the twistlocks.
LED Lights

LED lights inform the crane operator about the status of the twistlocks and the wire rope extension block. The LED lights indicate whether or not it is safe to hoist the cargo.
Remote
control
The RC Autotwist is equipped with a remote controller for extra safety. With this remote you are able to lock or unlock the spreader. The remote has a built-in display that shows the operating mode the spreader is in.
Sensors
The RC version is equipped with multiple sensors to notify the crane operator if a problem occurs while operating the RC Autotwist system.
