Winglets
*
Create a bigger surface for the top spreader to find the right position on the overheight spreader by using the winglets.
Double landing pin set-up
Each twistlock has two landing pins. All eight landing pins need to be activated before the crane driver can lock/unlock the overheight spreader twistlocks and hoist the equipment.
Redundant Energy System
If one solar panel is damaged, the other panels will continue to generate sufficient energy and charge the batteries. If one of the batteries is damaged, the other batteries will still deliver energy to the control system and motor drives.
Information
Display
The OHSIV comes equipped with a information display on the inside of the legs. The display shows the battery status, twistlock operation count, operation time and oil pressure.
Universal & Automatic
The OHSIV operates with any brand spreader without any mechanical modifications. The twistlocks of the main crane spreader connect to the overheight attachment. This process does not require any intervention from ground personnel.
Linking
beam
A linking beam is mounted between the legs of the OHSIV spreader to protect the legs. The linking beams are either connected with bolts or quick release pins.
Battery
pack
A total of four batteries are installed. Two pairs of batteries are connected and linked in parallel to achieve redundancy. If one battery is damaged, the other pair of batteries is still able to deliver energy to the system.
Charging
Light
a blue beacon light on the E-box blinks every 5 seconds while the batteries are charging via the power socket on the leg.
Charging
Plugs
The OHS is equipped as standard with a 230 V charging plug in one of the legs for charging the batteries of the overheight spreader.
ENERGY EFFICIENT
If one solar panel is damaged, the other panels will continue to generate sufficient energy and charge the batteries. If one of the batteries is damaged, the other batteries will still deliver energy to the control system and motor drives.
Overheight Spreaders Options
Direct twistlock
detection
As a standard the OHS comes with 2 sensors at the drive motor to give a signal to the operator whether the twistlocks are locked or unlocked.
Direct detection near the twistlocks is optional to detect the status of the twistlocks individually.
Removable
linking beam
As an option the link beam to stiffen the OHS leg can be fitted with a quick-link system for easy removal when handling protruding loads.
Extendable
Winglets
Winglets make it easier to land the spreader on the OHS. To increase the landing surface it is possible to install extendable winglets that increase the range from 250mm to 400mm.
Double Charging
Plugs
Additionally the OHSIV can be equipped with two charging plugs in two of the legs
Double Information
Display
Additionally the OHSIV can be equipped with two information displays on the inside of the legs. The display shows the battery status, twistlock operation count, operation time and oil pressure.
Safety
striping
It’s possible to fully customize our lifting equipment. Striping is often used as a safety option that shows the moving elements.
Siren Sound
Warning
The siren of the Overheight Spreader will make a sound when the twistlocks are moving and notify the crane operator.
Safety LED
Lights
The LED lights can be upgraded to 24 lights, 12 on each side.
THE HIGHEST STANDARD
The OHSIV comes in a fully electric and a hydraulic version. The improved version of the hydraulic OHSII and fully electric OHSIII is robust, reliable and enhanced by new technologies to support features like remote condition monitoring and troubleshooting.
