International Day of Education

Red line

January 24th 2020, Krimpen aan de Lek

International Day of Education is an annual international observance day held on January 24 and is dedicated to education. On December 3, 2018, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution proclaiming January 24 as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for bringing global peace and sustainable development.

To celebrate this at Stinis, we took time to interview our production manager Wietze Koning who also leads our efforts in educating students during internships.

Learning by doing at a young age

Red line

January 15th 2020, Krimpen aan de Lek

Often the love for a subject arises during primary school age. Primary school De Wegwijzer in Krimpen aan de Lek has therefore started the year with a practical class at Stinis.

In this way the school wants to give children with an interest in technology the opportunity to discover and develop their talent at a young age. Just like the school, Stinis is convinced that society needs doers as well as thinkers.

That is why Stinis is happy to contribute to this great initiative. The students finished their first practical class with great pleasure and look forward to two more interesting days at Stinis.
