STINIS – a family business to which six generations of talented engineers have devoted themselves. Stinis design, manufacture and service spreader and custom lifting equipment for container handling.

Stinis has two business units and a holding company. Each business unit covers a different region. Terminal operators and shipping lines based in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East are serviced by Stinis Holland. Businesses in Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand are supported by Stinis Asia Pacific. Both business units have state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and use a global network of representatives to provide dedicated on-site support.

Stinis Holland is based in Krimpen aan de Lek in The Netherlands. Stinis Asia Pacific’s sales office is headquartered in Singapore and its production and service facility is based in Johor, Malaysia. An additional service point is located in Shanghai, China.

YOUR ROLE

As a Commissioning & After Sales Engineer, your job roles will be as following:-

• Commissioning of projects assigned by superior.
• Provide support and assistance to pre-commissioning team with testing and trouble- shooting of new
• Make regular visit to customers to improve customer relationship and gather information targeting improvement to the product and spare parts process
• Regularly inform and update the organization about customer feedback, aiming for continuous improvement of the Stinis product and
• Provide technical support and recommend problem-solving solutions to customers to ensure they are satisfied with Stinis products and after-sales
• To provide aftersales, trouble-shooting and technical support to make sure customers are satisfied with the products and services of the organization.
• Prepare commissioning reports of site activities, observations, complaints, product defects, testing processes.
• Plan and coordinate commissioning schedule with end user and report to Head of commissioning and after sales.
• Undertake and execute all works in a safe manner by complying with relevant laws, regulations, procedures, protocols and codes of practice to safeguard for Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) of own self, other people and properties at workplace.
• Other ad-hoc tasks pertaining to commissioning and after sales duties as required by the superior.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have at least Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• You have a few years of work experience in port equipment servicing and maintenance.
• You have good problem solving skills in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic system.
• You are able to support the after sales service enquiries after the normal working hours.
• You are able travel to overseas frequently.
